THE Australian National Piano Award presents some of the highest calibre pianists from around Australia in this prestigious classical piano competition staged every two years in Shepparton, with 14 finalists aged between 21 to 30 years chosen by international adjudicators, Lance Coburn (Ireland), Joanna MacGregor (London) and Gerard Willems (Sydney) to compete this year.

Running throughout the week of September 3 to 8, the musicians will vie for the chance to win up to $68,000 in cash and prizes.

Performing over 33 recitals from rounds one, two, the semi-finals leading all the way to the grand finals, this year’s pianists are Vatche Jambazian, Berta Brozgul, James Guan, Timothy Chiang, Enrico-Sergio Mainas, Joshua Hooke, Robbin Reza, David Soo, Hank Xiang, Alexander Yau, Jeremy So, Longjie (Roger) Cui, Oliver She, and Rachael Shipard.

Tickets for the Monday to Friday sessions are $10 per session with the Saturday Grand Final $30 for adults, $20 concession and $10 for students.
