GET ready to get steady and wiggle! Australia’s most beloved all-dancing, all-singing and fun-inducing group are heading back to Shepparton for three dazzling shows on July 11 at the Goulburn Valley Grammar School.
Hello! We’re the Wiggles is the name of the brand-new show and with seven Wiggles on stage, singing a medley of classic favourites from the troupe’s impressive 30-year career along with new, popular showstoppers.
“It’s going to be a show full of great classic songs and great new ones, a real combination of 30 years’ worth of Wiggling,” said Red Wiggle, Simon.
Loving to sing with a voice that spans octaves, Simon is excited to be hitting the road again with more live shows stating, “Live shows are the best, they’re joyous and full of high-energy fun. When we’re on stage we really do have the best seat in the house watching the children having a great time. We also love watching the adults, the parents and grandparents who get to enjoy the show through their children’s eyes. It’s really very special.”
Appreciating that a live Wiggles show is often the first concert for many children, and with a two-and-a-half-year-old of his own, Simon said his favourite song to perform is Rock-A- Bye Your Bear.
“Rock-A-Bye Your Bear is a beautiful and gentle song which marries lyrics and actions beautifully, and it’s a song that we will do at every single one of our Wiggles shows,” Simon said.
