Turn the clocks BACK

A REMINDER to one and all that clocks are to be wound BACK one hour on Sunday, April 2, 2023, marking the end of the 2022/2023 daylight saving period, or to be precise, clocks are to be set or wound back one hour from 3am to 2am on this date.

Daylight savings is a practice of advancing clocks during spring, so that evening daylight lasts longer, with adjustments made in reverse during autumn to bring clocks back to standard time.

Australia first observed daylight saving time in 1916.
