Lighting upgrades at the Shepparton Cycling Precinct Velodrome are starting, with Greater Shepparton City Council awarding the $183,139 contract to Watters Electrical Pty Ltd at its November meeting. The upgrades will ensure lighting meets AusCycling 300 LUX standards, supporting local training, competitions and major BMX events. Works commence this month and are expected to be completed before Christmas, ensuring the velodrome is ready for the Shepparton Cycling Club Christmas Track Carnival.
