The Parliament of Victoria’s Environment and Planning Committee will be in Shepparton to hear from local councils and community groups tackling climate change. The hearing will focus on local initiatives combating climate change and how the government can support them.
The hearing is at Mooroopna Education and Activity Centre from 10:30am – 1:15pm on Wednesday February 12.
Representatives from Shepparton, Moira, Campaspe and Mitchell shire councils will be appearing along with the North East Region Sustainability Alliance and Benalla Sustainable Future Group.
