Vintage Rally and Tractor Pull returns

GEAR up for an action-packed Easter weekend at the Wunghnu Recreation Reserve, where the 39th Annual Vintage Rally and Tractor Pull is set to rev up the fun on March 30 and 31. Hosted by the Goulburn Valley Vintage Tractors and Farm Machinery Club Inc (GVVTFMC), this free event promises a packed schedule of entertainment.

From the timeless allure of the iconic Farmall tractor to the mesmerising start-up of the Crossley Engine, there’s will be no shortage of excitement. This year will see a sheep dog demonstration added to the lineup, alongside the thunderous roar of historic machinery.

Witness thrilling tractor pulling competitions, marvel at working exhibits featuring machinery of yesteryear, and the kids can enjoy train rides courtesy of the Moira Miniature Rail Club. Plus, woodwork enthusiasts will be treated to captivating displays by the GV Wood Turners.

Fuel your passion with onsite catering and make the most of the weekend with camping facilities available. With activities kicking off 9.30am Saturday and continuing through Sunday to 5pm with the Federation Picnic Car Display, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

GVVTFMC stalwart and event coordinator Lloyd Healey said, “This will be a great family day and a great weekend to catch up with likeminded people. It’s just a terrific way to have fun, see friends and enjoy the fascination of machine, machinery and vehicle.”
