IN Lifestyle Shepparton, a new war memorial – a tribute to past, present, and future war heroes – has been unveiled. The project was the brainchild of Pauline Pritchett, the annual march organiser, who spent five relentless years bringing this memorial to fruition.
The unveiling ceremony, attended by 115 people, marked the culmination of Pauline’s tireless efforts and the community’s unwavering support. Lifestyle’s local managers have been instrumental in backing the project, demonstrating their commitment to honouring our veterans.
The memorial, adorned with three plaques and a soldier statue, was generously funded by the RSL. In a symbolic gesture, a lone pine was also planted, serving as a living tribute to those who served and will serve. This new landmark stands as a testament to our community’s respect and gratitude for our war heroes.
