STEM is an approach to learning and development that integrates the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It encourages students to develop problem solving skills and encourages creativity, both crucial components to academic success and later on, in the workforce.

Congupna Primary School are STEM leaders, with a focus on engaging, hands-on learning through their use of cutting-edge technology to deliver a curriculum that focuses on STEM components and skills-based education.

The school motto is ‘We are kind, We are brave, We are curious’, and Congupna Primary School have a commitment to teaching social and emotional learning skills and promoting respectful relationships.

“We believe in engaging education, not passive receipt of knowledge. We want our students to seek answers to their questions about the world through hands-on learning, for them to work dynamically in groups and to uphold our school’s values.” said principal Adam Cleary.

The grounds of the school boast wide open spaces, two undercover playgrounds, a veggie garden and even some feathered and furry friends in the way of chickens and guinea pigs.

If you would like a tour of the school, there are two open day sessions on Thursday May 6 at 9:00 am and again at 11:30 am. Families are welcome to call the school and arrange another time if they are unable to make it to the open day sessions.
