Carols by Candlelight online performance this Sunday
GREATER Shepparton’s Carols by Candlelight will look a bit different this weekend, but the same level of passion has gone into its preparation.
This Sunday evening, you will be able to enjoy the much-loved community
event, traditionally held in Shepparton’s Queens Gardens, from your home as the annual celebration is broadcast online this year.
Greater Shepparton City Council Mayor, Cr Kim O’Keeffe, said it was important we celebrate and reconnect as a community.
“We have had to miss out on a lot of our favourite events this year, so Council is extremely pleased to be able to bring this performance for the community to celebrate going into the New Year,” she said.
Talented performers from across the Goulburn Valley, including Moara Smith (pictured) have come together to perform everyone’s favourite festive songs at Riverlinks West Side theatre, which will be available to stream online from 7pm this Sunday, December 20, on Council’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page, or listen live on ONEFM 98.5.
