The Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry made a presentation of locally manufactured masks and hand sanitiser to the Hospice Opportunity Shop on Monday.

The donation of Surgical Masks made by Australian owned and operated companies Med-Con along with Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser made by Pental Products were presented to the organisation by the President of Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry, John Anderson.

The donated items are to be used by the Hospice Opportunity Shop Volunteers as well as the Patient Care Volunteers to keep them safe and protected during flu season.

“We received funding from State Government and thought it would be wonderful to support Goulburn Valley Hospice and two local Manufacturers,” said John Anderson.

The items will be presented to all volunteers so they may continue to support our community and help reduce the spread of illnesses while doing so.
