WHAT are we going to eat for dinner tonight? The dreaded question can be sparked first thing in the morning by children, couples and singles as they scramble for ideas to have for the most thought-over meal of the day.
For Shepparton residents, the most googled cuisine is Indian Food, according to BizCover, closely followed by English then Thai food. The most popular dishes Indian food lovers searched for was Biryani, Tandoori and curry dishes. English cuisine loved dishes like fish and chips and roast dinners. While Thai cuisine fans have a love for Tom Yum Som Tum and Pad Thai.
The research conducted by BizCover, analysed Google search data related to the 30 most popular cuisines in different Australian cities to find out what cuisines Australians search for and eat the most.
Australia-wide, the most popular food googled is Japanese cuisine, as we appear to be a nation of sushi lovers. With the oriental diet topping many of the state’s googled lists including Victoria.
The top 10 cuisines googled in Shepparton are Indian, English, Thai, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Vietnamese, American and Korean.
