THE 2023 GMCU $25,500 Giveaway has drawn six more local, lucky winners during its second week of competition. Another 30 lucky participants are still to be unveiled in the coming weeks as they enjoy shopping at one of the many participating businesses throughout the region.
The lucky winners in week two of the competition include: Julie Haddow who won after shopping at Big W – Shepparton Marketplace, Ann Rouse after shopping at The Main Course Butchery -Riverside Plaza, Miriam McIntosh after shopping at Blizzards Fine Jewellers- Maude Street, Shelley Tate after shopping at Spirited Flame – Kyabram and Iren Havas after shopping at Fairleys IGA.
Anne Sexton was delighted to win stating, ‘What a lovely Tuesday morning call to get! Very exciting,’ while Iren Havas said, ‘Oh! Beautiful, wow! I love it, I love it! You have brought sunshine to such a cold and gloomy day.”
Winner Ann Rouse said, “I love to shop locally, especially here at Riverside Plaza and Spotlight. This money will be well spent at my favourite local shops.”
Winner Iren Havas was thrilled when awarded her prize on Monday stating, “I’d never won anything before this, so this has been amazing!”
Waiting to be claimed over the next three weeks are: 18 $500 GMCU debit card winners, eight consolation $500 GMCU debit cards, three $500 GMCU debit card prizes for the businesses who receive the most entries and the grand prize of a $5000 GMCU debit card to one lucky winner, drawn on Monday July 31st. GMCU debit cards can be used at businesses participating in the giveaway.
