“The hub has brochures, flyers and booklets designed to answer many common questions people have about the referendum,” said organiser Lisa McKenzie.

“We are fortunate to have a large and vibrant Indigenous community in our region and it’s up to all of us to understand the rationale for the Voice to Parliament.”

“Everyone’s excited about the Matilda’s we want to be excited too, we’d love to have that green and gold represent us. And we’re in the stadium. We’re not sitting outside… We want to come in. Yes vote brings us in. The no vote keeps us locked out. So, those symbolisms with nation, or whether it’s flags or anthems and representative teams etc. It’s going to be important for Australian society to be able to introduce themselves on the world stage,” said Paul Briggs OAM.

“I’m going to have two bob each way on this one, I think. I’m quietly optimistic, but we just have to prepare ourselves for a no as well.”
