THE KIWANIS CLUB has a Kiwanis K-Kids Club group at the Mooroopna Park Primary School. This will be the fourth year for this club, starting in February. Providing an opportunity for Community & students to work together on various projects.

LIVING WELL WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS do you have an ongoing health condition that is impacting on your life?  Would you like to better manage this/these conditions? Primary Care Connect invites people diagnosed with chronic illness to participate in a 6 week program of 2 ½ hours per week to develop skills to better manage their chronic health conditions. Topics covered include symptom management, dealing with difficult emotions, goal setting, problem solving & healthy eating to name a few.

THE KIWANIS CLUB’S next projects will be the Clean up Australia Day with a section of the “Adopt a Highway” and entry into the Department of Sustainability “Keep Australia Beautiful – Victoria” project listing the many environment improvements in Mooroopna


DO YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF HOURS FREE? Volunteers are needed at Vision Australia. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist us in our Day program. All training is provided. Our Day program volunteers assist us by providing transport (in our vehicles and bus) for our clients to and from the Day program, for the many craft activities chosen by the members. Vision Australia’s Day program is an invaluable social group of those who are elderly, blind or have low vision, have a disability or are feeling isolated.
