Linfox has been delivering on behalf of bp to Pat & Tina service station since 2014, and we are proud to say that our drivers have formed a close bond with the family-owned business.
We visit the site managed by their son Joe two to three times a week, and each time, Joe welcomes our drivers with his generous hospitality, often offering them a refreshing drink or, on some lucky occasions, breakfast.
I have always attributed Joe’s warm and inviting nature to his Italian heritage. In a world where people are always in a hurry, Joe takes the time to make sure everyone feels seen and valued, especially his customers.
While Linfox services hundreds of service stations, we are confident that Pat &Tina is the only site where the staff go above and beyond by not only filling up customers’ vehicles with fuel but also checking their oil and water levels, cleaning their windshields, and ensuring their safety for the remainder of their journey.
Despite facing difficult times, such as last year’s site flooding, the family has shown remarkable resilience. They have always remained positive, demonstrating strength and determination that is truly inspiring.
