The Greater Shepparton Business Network (GSBN) is a forum for all business of Greater Shepparton to come together to share experiences, engage with likeminded local businesses, and become better informed about critical matters impacting our business community now and into the future.
The Shepparton Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has been serving the Shepparton community for over 100 years, advocating on behalf of all local business sectors including retail, commerce, manufacturing, building, engineering, agricultural production, and food processing. In that time the Greater Shepparton Community has grown and prospered through an ever-changing landscape of business conditions driven by local, regional, national, and international factors.
In 2022, SCCI in conjunction with the local business community and local government established GSBN to meet the pressing need for a structured platform for Greater Shepparton businesses to connect. GSBN facilitates connections for all businesses across our region, from Dookie to Murchison, Tatura to Mooroopna, Orrvale to Congupna, Kialla to Shepparton North and everywhere in between and no matter the size of your workforce. The current economic climate heightens the importance and value of a collaborative approach to understanding the challenges and opportunities within Greater Shepparton, the Goulburn Valley and Victoria.
GSBN’s monthly after-5 networking events, free for all members, are proving a valuable forum for connection across business sectors. Our Members event hosts are providing fellow members with insights into their business operations, and facilitating connections that create new partnerships and networks through shared experiences.
Our proactive partnership with the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) grants GSBN members access to a diverse suite of professional business resources, including over 300 training programs from online short courses to comprehensive accredited certificate courses. GSBN Gold and Platinum members also receive access to VCCI’s comprehensive toolbox of HR resources and support hotline. Our partnership with VCCI is invaluable to GSBN members navigating an ever-changing regulatory environment.
