Under the long-standing leadership of Dean Jones and Mark Shanahan, the company has not only grown its reputation as a service-driven enterprise but has also made significant strides in its operations, relocating to a purpose-built facility in 2022, streamlining its logistics and increasing its stockholding capacity.
Leveraging its long-standing membership with the Construction Supply Specialists (CSS) group, Ultimate Fasteners has been well-positioned to weather recent turbulence in the market and has even taken another major step forward, ensuring the enterprise continues to evolve and thrive, as Dean said, for “many umpteen years to come.”

In June of this year, Ultimate Fasteners, encompassing all three of its branches, was acquired by one of Australia’s most established industrial holding companies, Metal Manufacturers Pty Limited. Securing the long-term continuity of the business, the acquisition also expands the company’s access to national resources, supply chain efficiencies and broader market reach through Metal Manufacturers’ new Building Industrials Supply Group (BISG), following the acquisition and rebranding of CSS.
Despite the change in ownership, Dean, Mark and their dedicated local team all remain firmly in place, continuing their commitment to customers and providing the responsive, flexible service they’ve become renowned for.
