Exciting changes are underway for Tip N Go Trailers and Trek Hardware 4×4 Superstore, now under the ownership of Amanda and Andrew Hodges, the trusted duo behind Goodfellows Car and Truck Rentals. With over 30 years of exceptional service, strong community ties and a reputation for integrity, the Hodges are bringing their customer-first approach to the trailer and 4×4 industry.

With exciting plans to unify all three businesses under one roof, Amanda and Andrew are launching plans to establish a one-stop shop, to provide not just trailer sales and custom fabrication, but also expert servicing, 4×4 fit-outs and an expansion of their rental fleet.

“We’re excited to announce that Goodfellows will be joining Tip N Go at the new location, bringing their expertise in workshop and wash bay services. We’re planning to add a new three-bay workshop to complement the existing bay on site, enabling us to service up to four vehicles per day.

“This will create a true one-stop shop – enhancing the level of service at Tip N Go while expanding our rental trailer fleet. With Goodfellows’ proven know-how and commitment to customer service, we’ll not only improve maintenance for existing fleets but also increase our capacity to offer a wider range of rental trailers.”

A key part of their strategy is a renewed focus on trailer maintenance—an often-overlooked aspect of heavy-duty use.

“Too many people rely on their trailers for tough jobs but neglect routine servicing,” Amanda said.

“We’re introducing scheduled service plans, including a budget-friendly check-up three months after purchase. It’s all about safety, reliability and protecting your investment.”

Maintaining the same high-quality commitment to custom building trailers and ute trays, as well as strengthening Trek 4×4’s expertise in accessories like tow bars, bull bars, side steps, and winches, all fabrication will continue to be done locally and tailored to each customer’s needs.

With future plans set to boost Tip N Go and Trek Hardware 4×4’s service capacity, Amanda said:

“If you’ve got a broken trailer, need maintenance, or are after expert repairs — bring it to us. We’ll do our absolute best to help.”
