The region’s concentration of food and grocery manufacturing is complemented by a significant allied manufacturing sectors, including 10 per cent of Australia’s metal fabrication businesses and a nationally significant specialist food-grade stainless and dairy process equipment cluster.
This integrated supply chain, from paddock to processing plant to port, ensures local produce reaches markets not only across Australia, but internationally.
