Cobram played with resilience against the more experienced Numurkah Golf side, featuring Murray bowls legend and past Australian representative Geoff Sutcliffe. Cobram trailed 6-16, before fighting back to draw 18-18 and forcing a tie break.
Gade’s last draw shot was out by a skinny 1mm, allowing Numurkah Golf to win 19-18 against the youthful Cobram side.
