Shepparton-Based equipment hire specialist, ConX Hire has again, continued it’s consistent theme of strong growth in 2025, with a sixth metropolitan site scheduled to open this month.
Now in its ninth year of operation, ConX Hire has become a well recognised name in dry hire equipment services across regional Victoria and into southern NSW.
With roots firmly planted in Shepparton, the company has announced further expansion plans for 2026, aligning with their 10-year anniversary.
“In addition to adding two new metro sites over the past 12 months, we’ve also expanded our Shepparton team, adding five new employees,” said Business Manager, James Morden.
“This growth has seen us outgrow our current Shepparton headquarters, and we’re now actively searching for a more suitable local site, at least 50 per cent larger, to enable us to meet the increasing demand of our growing client base,” he said.
ConX Hire now operates across seven locations, here in Shepparton, as well as Airport West, Brooklyn, Ferntree Gully, Mentone and their newest sites in Pakenham and Vermont.
The business continues to service an expansive footprint, providing plant and equipment hire throughout regional Victoria and into southern New South Wales.
Further interstate expansion is on the horizon too, shared Mr Morden, as the company looks to increase its market share.
Mr Morden further stated the continued growth of the business has been attributed to several key factors, including accessibility, efficiency and reliability of equipment — enabled by their centralised logistics and maintenance hub in Shepparton.
“Our centralised operations ensure all equipment remains in peak condition, with safety and reliability being our top priorities.
“It also means faster, more efficient deployment of machinery across all our sites,” he said.
Looking ahead, Mr Morden reaffirmed the company’s dedication to the region.
“Shepparton will always be our home base. We’ve built this business here and we’re committed to continuing our investment in the region’s growth.
“Our goal is to continue to support ongoing regional development through reliable equipment hire and responsive service.”
ConX Hire’s ongoing expansion coincides with increased demands of infrastructure and ongoing construction investment across the Greater Goulburn Valley—an environment Mr Morden says, he believes is ripe for long-term business success.
