Shepparton Foodshare have been in operation since 2012. The organisation was established by a group of forward-thinking community members who saw a need for a food relief and distribution centre to service the Goulburn Valley and surrounding areas.
Since this time, it is only with the support of our generous community that to date we have distributed 4.8 million kilos of food, or the equivalent of 9.6 million meals, to the most vulnerable in our community. This impact has only been achieved due to the hard work undertaken by our volunteers, our wonderful team and support by local business partners, food donors, along with individuals and groups who generously donate to Shepparton Foodshare.

After many years of operating within premises via in-kind support, this year Shepparton Foodshare moved into a purpose-built new Food Relief Warehouse and Distribution centre. Investment from the Victorian and Commonwealth Governments funded the building along with donated land from the local Andreadis family. The design meets current needs, allows for growth and better equips the community to respond in times of emergency and crisis.
With our vital local service’s accommodation now secure, we continue to seek partnerships from local manufacturers, growers and business to ensure a sustainable supply of donated food to keep up with the increasing need for food relief locally.
We thank everyone across our community for their generous support to date and on-going support.
