Dignitaries Season’s Greatings

Sam Birrell

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

There’s tinsel on the trees, crowds in local shops and smiles on children’s faces – it’s Christmas and however you decide to celebrate, it’s a special time of year.

Our amazing communities continue to go from strength to strength, in their recovery from the challenges of 2022 and the opportunities of the future. I will continue to work collaboratively to ensure our voice is heard in Canberra, and that the Federal Government understands what it needs to do to ensure we can continue to thrive.

This Christmas I encourage you to shop local.

Our region has an endless range of goods and services on offer and buying locally means you’re also giving a gift to regional businesses and supporting jobs.

My office is here to help all constituents with Federal Government issues, so don’t hesitate to reach out. My office will be closed from December 22nd and will reopen on January 2nd.

I hope you have a safe and happy holiday, filled with lasting memories with family and friends.

I look forward to meeting with many of you in 2024.

Kim O’Keeffe

As the year comes to an end, I reflect on the past 12 months. It has been such an honour to represent the Shepparton district in the State Parliament and to support my electorate. I am embracing the role with the same commitment and determination I have always done in serving our communities and my door is open.

It is a joy to be part of such a wonderful, caring and united region. It is so important to support local businesses and those in need so that Christmas can be a joy for all. You can support many local Christmas charities and Christmas donations can also be dropped into my office at 318 Wyndham Street, Shepparton.

This Christmas season, stop and make time for special memories with your loved ones and be safe during this holiday time. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.

The festive season is a wonderful time of year where we can join with family and friends to celebrate Christmas and look to the year ahead.

From the giving and receiving of presents to too much food for Christmas lunch, it is a special time for most of us. Sadly, this Christmas will be a lonely time for some people in our community and my thoughts are with those less fortunate or are currently doing it tough. It is important that we reach out with kindness and good wishes to these people, and I ask that you extend the Christmas cheer to our vulnerable friends and neighbours.

After a busy first year representing our community in State Parliament, I am looking forward to spending some time with my family over the festive season. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and safe and prosperous New Year.

Together with my staff Tamara, Katerina and Rowan I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy and prosperous 2024.

Christmas is a special time of the year. It is a time of joy and love as we join with our family and friends to celebrate the festive season.

For many it is a time for exchanging presents, endless amounts of food and cricket in the backyard. However it is also a time of contrast and unfortunately for some, Christmas can be a lonely or stressful time.

During this special time, I ask that you consider contributing to those in need or check in on those who may be alone or vulnerable. The greatest gift you can give someone this festive season is the gift of kindness and friendship.

However you celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful Christmas full of goodwill and happiness.

On behalf of Greater Shepparton City Council we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and a relaxing festive season.

This year we focused on our region’s recovery and growth, and as a community you supported each other along the journey.

It was fantastic to see so many large events held here over the past 12 months, with the region coming together to celebrate and enjoy what makes Greater Shepparton thrive.

The holiday season gives us all a chance to spend quality time with family and friends. It is also a chance to celebrate the achievements of the past year and welcome a fresh start in 2024.

Take care and stay safe over the Christmas and New Year period. We look forward to working with the community next year to achieve many more great things for our region.

See you all in 2024.

Mayor, Cr Shane Sali.

On behalf of GV Health, I would like to wish all staff, volunteers and community members a happy and safe festive season.

This year has been a very busy time for GV Health, as we have seen a continued increase in emergency patient demand alongside staff shortages. Despite the difficulties faced, GV Health’s staff have remained steadfast in their commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients and community. Thank you to all of our staff who have gone above and beyond this year. Thanks also to all community members, businesses and service providers who have supported us.

We look forward to continuing to provide outstanding care and services to the Goulburn Valley community in 2024.
