A trusted provider of heavy haulage and oversized load transport, Lift ‘N’ Shift takes on the hefty, challenging jobs that others avoid. With a strong reputation for handling tough projects, Lift ‘N’ Shift has delivered exceptional, specialised service across the construction, agriculture, infrastructure and logistics sectors for over 20 years.

Specialising in the transport of non-standard freight, including machinery, containers, portable buildings and agricultural equipment, this well-established family business has recently supported major local developments such as GV Link, as well as numerous subdivisions across Greater Shepparton.

The company operates a fleet of seven trucks, including tilt trays, low loaders and a 48ft super tilt trailer designed to move everything from 40ft shipping containers to tractors and trucks. With the capacity to carry loads up to 50 tons and widths up to 3.6 metres, Lift ‘N’ Shift is fully equipped to tackle the region’s toughest freight jobs.

Since taking over the business two years ago, owners Gary and Marie Oliver have focused on preserving its strong reputation and loyal customer base, a legacy originally built by Marie’s father, Tony.

“When we took over the business, it already had a solid reputation and client base. That’s the hardest part to build in this kind of industry. With such an established name, we obviously want to maintain that, along with the business’ legacy,” Marie said.

Currently focused on strengthening and consolidating their business, the couple is taking a deliberate and measured approach to growth.

“Over the next five years, we’d like to build the business back up to its previous capacity. When we took over, we started with around half as many trucks. We wanted to start smaller and see where the business takes us,” Marie said.

Looking ahead, Gary is optimistic about the next 12 months, confident in the company’s niche market and tailored expertise.

“We work closely with the construction industry, wherever it’s going, that’s where we’re going. There’s a lot happening locally, so we’re feeling very positive about what’s ahead.”
