HARNESSING words and inspiration to create worlds through story and verse, the Junior and Youth category winners for the 2023 Furphy Literary Awards have been announced!

Drawing an excited audience of over 150 people to the Shepparton Library on Sunday, July 30, this year’s winners were selected from over 200 hundred entries.

The Adviser would like to heartily congratulate the below winners in each category as well as acknowledge the efforts of each young entrant who bravely put pen to paper for this year’s competition because there is perhaps no greater importance than being able to ‘think through one’s fingers’ as you write to create!
