Over the past year, we’ve made significant progress in improving access to care and modernising how we deliver it.
We implemented a new Patient Administration System across GV Health and 14 regional services in the Hume region, giving our teams better tools to deliver connected, high-quality care for every person, in every location.
We’ve started building new staff accommodation at Shepparton Hospital to help attract and retain the workforce needed to care for our community.
Our new Spiritual Care Service provides holistic, person-centred support for patients, families and staff.
This year, we achieved full accreditation against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards and our Intensive Care Unit gained national training accreditation, enabling us to train future intensive care specialists locally.
Targeted improvements in our Emergency Department have reduced wait times, ensuring more people receive timely treatment when it matters most.
I’m proud of our staff and grateful for the ongoing support of our community as we build a stronger, more connected health system for the Goulburn Valley.
