Missing Councillor

Priestly was elected as a councillor for the City of Greater Shepparton to act on behalf of the Greater Shepparton people.

When retailers in the Maude Street Mall needed free access for their customers during Christmas trading, from October to December, Priestly allowed the construction of hoardings across the front of these shops from corner of Maude street and Fraser Streets.

Let’s not forget the deteriorated condition of the kerbing and paving in Toolamba road outside St Mary’s school where the school children need to board the school busses. Although this has been pointed out to Cr Priestly when he was meeting with people in the main street of Mooroopna. Nothing has been done, the children still must wade through the mud and water when it rains.
Now the situation with the land surrounding the Shepparton ACE College where the Greater Shepparton Council proposes to sell the land for a peppercorn price to a developer to build a four-story building which would overshadow the school. A building with for this purpose would be far better suited on the south side of the Kmart-Coles carpark, where the residents would have access to Centrelink and other services and shops.

But where is Cr Priestly this time? Gone missing again. If elected to Parliament would he just go missing whenever the people needed him?
