A purchase from a social enterprise as a business also helps to meet social procurement requirements.

Every facet provides meaningful employment and work experience opportunities for ConnectGV’s supported employment workforce of around 40 people that work across its various social enterprises located at Billabong.

“It is tremendous to have people living with a disability, working and learning new skills within our social enterprise businesses. This provides diverse opportunities working in retail, horticulture, hospitality, landscaping and supply chain sectors, and building skills and confidence before embarking on other roles within our community. Our social enterprise businesses provide direct positive social impacts and all revenue earned is directly re-invested back into our service provision to support ‘seeing the possibility, not the disability’,” said ConnectGV CEO Jacinta Russell.

Billabong Garden Complex is located at 295 Numurkah Road, Shepparton.
