It is a pleasure to once again contribute to the Shepparton Adviser’s Our Goulburn Valley magazine.
The Goulburn Valley is a wonderful place to live and work and is home to a diverse range of manufacturing and industry, art and culture and many sporting clubs that deliver strong social connection to our people.
The Goulburn Valley is rightly known as the Food Bowl of Australia, with our agricultural and horticultural produce served on kitchen tables all over the country and in many parts of the world.
Art and culture hold a very special place in the Goulburn Valley, with world class museums and exhibition spaces that have become must-visit tourist destinations. For example the Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE) celebrates the Goulburn Valley’s long and distinguished history in motoring and the transport industry.
Sport plays an important role in our way of life in the Goulburn Valley, providing social connection within our communities. Many sporting clubs are the heart and soul of our towns and deliver a sense of comfort and belonging for our people.
I wholeheartedly love living in the Goulburn Valley and I am truly proud to call it my home.
