Shepparton festival officially underway

SHEPPARTON Festival’s 27th year is now in full swing, with a successful opening night last Thursday at the Festival Hub in Edward Street.

After the opening, many headed to Shepparton Brewery to round out the evening with tasty food and drinks. The Festival Hub features artwork exhibited from the ‘Call to Create’ program, the wonderful Collective Community Heart by Nathan Carkeek and Dery Theodorus, and Reflecting Resilience by Greater Shepparton Lighthouse Project.

The festival will run until April 2. Be inspired, entertained and enlivened. With an abundance of performance, art, culture and food in store. This year’s celebration is a feast for the senses.

Explore unique events in unusual places around the Goulburn Valley including music, theatre, comedy, exhibitions and workshops.

Amongst the line-up of performances, live music, exhibitions, workshops, and experiences, highlights include a Spanish Opera at Tallis Wines performed by Allegra Giagu and Mamás Bravas, a Multicultural Comedy Gala featuring big names in comedy like Dilruk Jayasinha and Ivan Aristeguieta, art exhibitions featuring local artists like Tori Day, Rachel Doller and Tammy-Lee Atkinson, and much more.
