Strong attendance at Visitor Economy Industry Luncheon

Local business people and organisations attended the ‘Visitor Economy Industry Luncheon’ at Belcibo & Co where they had a chance to network amongst other like minded locals to help drive Shepparton’s future forward, on Thursday March 10.

The event was held on behalf of the Greater Shepparton City Council with also in attendance Mayor, Cr Kim O’Keeffe. The event covered aspects such as the CBD update, several grant programs, the Maude Street Mall redevelopment, a visitor economy update along with ideas of how ‘Shepparton’ can become a destination people will want to be miss.

“Shepparton is continuing to strive and grow and become a destination for the community and for visitors. I am excited about what is ahead for us with an incredibly positive year ahead,” said the Mayor.

The 2022 Greater Shepparton major events calendar was also handed out at the luncheon with several exciting things in the pipeline, such as the Shepparton Festival, Illuminate and White Night, just to name a few.
