From world-class orchards and dairies to iconic employers like SPC, Campbell’s Soup and Furphy Manufacturing, the Goulburn Valley is a powerhouse of economic strength, innovation and community spirit.
As Leader of the Opposition, and as someone who represents a regional electorate myself, I know the importance of having strong local voices in Canberra. I’m proud that my team includes Sam Birrell, the Member for Nicholls, whose tireless advocacy delivers real results for his community.
The Coalition has a proud record of investment here, including support for the Shepparton Art Museum, the Museum of Vehicle Evolution, and the Murray Darling Medical School, which will see its first doctors graduate this year. The Shepparton rail line upgrade is a critical project for the region’s future, and Sam continues to push for its full delivery.
