I believe the voters in Nicholls have a unique moment in time when they can make a significant change by voting for an outstanding independent candidate like Rob Priestly. The Priestly family built up a large business with a totally inclusive workforce of close to 400 employees to become a major employer in Mooroopna. We need pollies with fiscal management skills and business acumen to represent us in parliament. We don’t need more billion-dollar cost blow outs on government projects, and we need money spent in this area on the Shepparton Bypass and on our rural roads, which are some of the worst in the state. We also need university facilities in this area, so our young people don’t need the huge expense of moving to Melbourne to further their education. I believe that Rob has the vision and drive to make this possible.
