Shepparton ACE Secondary College is dedicated to being an environment for its students to thrive both academically and personally. Providing a safe and supportive learning environment is crucial for students to reach both their academic goals and personal fulfilment.
The institution offers a dynamic and progressive curriculum, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities, which encourages students to view their education as a stepping stone to their future success and ideal career.
The college prides itself on its ability to offer different pathways to further study. Year 12 student Cooper aspires to study the scientific components of crime and will be attending La Trobe University in Bundoora to complete a Bachelor of Criminology/Bachelor of Psychological Science.

To pursue his career goal, Cooper has been enrolled in the Aspire Prepare Program with La Trobe University and upon successful completion, will gain an early offer into his preferred course for 2024.
The Aspire Early Entry Program is a way to access an adjusted Aspire ATAR for your preferred course and secure an early conditional offer. For some Aspire programs, you can also gain a La Trobe Entrance Score as an alternative to your ATAR.
“Before my time at ACE College, I was considering leaving school altogether. A big part of why I’ve come this far is the teachers. They are supportive, relaxed, understanding and have a genuine interest in their student’s aspirations and wellbeing,” said Cooper.
“I did have a break from school for a while, and the nature of ACE College meant I could come back and complete my studies. The ability to have that flexibility traditional schools may not allow was key to me getting to this point.”
The college focus is on small class sizes that offers students greater interaction with their teachers and the ability to engage in a learning process that gives students an understanding of the benefits of study, of how it can open doors and pathways to further studies in fields they have a strong interest in.
