MEET Gavin McMahon, the man behind Shepparton’s renowned Roweanne Builders. A carpenter by trade, Gavin began his journey in 1980, and has since become a stalwart of the local building industry.

Seven years ago, Gavin traded his toolbox for a desk, launching Roweanne Builders. The company, which began with just two old Utes and five employees, has now grown to encompass over 30 workers and increased turnover tenfold.

Roweanne Builders specialises in government housing upgrades and insurance renovations, contributing significantly to the local community. “We’re proud to focus on projects that truly make a difference,” says Gavin. Their work isn’t limited to government projects, however. The firm also lends its expertise to the Salvation Army for minor works on Aboriginal Housing, furthering their community impact.

Gavin’s story is one of dedication and growth, both personally and professionally. His journey from an apprentice carpenter to the owner of a thriving business is a testament to the power of hard work and vision.
