DO you have an area in your garden where you wish you had a walkway? Perhaps it’s a muddy area that is in between your lawn and where your garden shed is? Well, in a few simple steps you can build your own wooden walkway and it won’t break the bank.
- Pick up some reclaimed wooden boards. You may already have these on-hand laying around your yard or tucked away in your shed. If not, ask around. You would be surprised at how easy they are to come by.
- Give them a quick sanding and you can even apply a lacquer to make them look like new again.
- Level the pathway area where you wish to have your walkway and remember to dig lower than the two ends of where your walkway is going.
- Lay the boards down loosely in place. This enables for easy lifting for carefree weed removal.
*You can also add a few rocks surrounding the walkway.
And there you have it. Simple right?
