New products launched

THROUGH an innovative solutions-based business model, strong investment and bold leadership, Shepparton-based Pental Limited has grown to become a major regional Australian manufacturer of fast-moving consumer cleaning products.

The vast Pental product range spans everything from disinfectants, detergents, sanitisers, hospital grade bleach and anti-bacterial cleaners to organic liquid and bar soap from famous Australian brands such as White King, Jiffy, Huggie, Velvet, Softly and Country Life.

In recent years, the company has invested in significant capital upgrades to expand its manufacturing capacity and enable it to produce more sustainable products.

It is now realising the fruits of these labours by releasing a swag of new ‘green’ products across its brand portfolio, including a new White King 4-in-1 sustainable multipurpose household cleaner in June.

This follows the launch of green BONDI Soap and Vitale luxury skin-care products last year.

Pental’s manufacturing revitalisation and sustainable-product push has taken place through the global COVID pandemic, then floods last year that affected wide swathes of the Goulburn Valley.

During the latter the company had to temporarily close operations yet successfully responded to a post-flood spike in demand for cleaning and disinfecting products while directly contributing products to Food Share and other flood-support networks to help the clean-up.

It’s proof of this fiercely community-minded organisation’s versatility, resilience and significant contribution to the region.

“It shows the importance of the Goulburn Valley and businesses like Pental in holding a sovereign capability to support the nation,” said Pental’s Carmine Conte.
