SPRING is here and the increase in sunshine presents the perfect opportunity to open all your windows, get the step ladder out and tackle those jobs that don’t get done during your daily/weekly cleaning sessions.
Here is a spring-cleaning checklist to get you started.
Indoors:
- Wash Baseboards, door ceilings, windowsills, doors, and walls
- Vacuum and wash vents
- Wash window treatments such as fabric curtains
- Dust blinds
- Wash windows, inside and out
- Dust and shine overhead lights – replace light bulbs
- Dust and/or vacuum light fixtures and lamp shades
- Clean your washing machine
- Test batteries in all your smoke detectors
Outdoors:
- Remove everything from your garage and reorganise
- Pressure wash your deck and outdoor furniture
- Hose out your garbage can and recycling bins
- Remove window screens and wash them with a soapy sponge and water
- Clean out gutters
- Sort through outdoor toys, donate or throw out what you need to
