What’s in for spring

EARTHY neutrals remain at the forefront of interior trends, with lighter tones leading the way as we slowly transition into the warmer months. Here are three predictions for what’s hot this spring:

Curves and circles: Curves are still in this season. They appear in just about everything, from interior design to architecture to gardens. Keep an eye out for curved mirrors, rounded bed heads and artwork with circles.

Statement tiles: Inspired by the beautiful bathrooms in traditional Italian and Spanish design, statement tiles are making a big comeback.

Escape the plain aesthetic of grey, white and black and embrace tiles with colour and pattern.

Natural timber: White wood has reigned supreme over the past decade but it’s time for natural timber to have its time in the spotlight. The farmhouse trend has meant it is being incorporated into new builds and renovations, and many furniture stores now offer a range of hard furnishing options in natural finishes.
